Wirewerks’ new FiberRUN™ Rapid Deployment Solution for MDU/MTU Properties Earns CI&M 2024 Gold Cabling Innovators Award.

Wirewerks, a leading manufacturer of network infrastructure solutions for Service Provider, Data Center and Enterprise customers, announced that their new FiberRUN™ rapid deployment solution for MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) residential properties and MTU (Multi-Tenant Unit) commercial properties, earned a 2024 Gold Cabling Innovators Award from Cabling Installation & Maintenance at this year’s BICSI Fall Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The new FiberRUN system is organized into four main elements including the FR Gateway, the FR FLEX Hub, the FR Expansion Hub and the FR Subscriber Station. These elements combine to provide network design flexibility necessary to adapt to any MDU/MTU property.

The FiberRUN System features extensive use of pre-terminated fiber cables and fiber modules to minimize field splicing, significantly reducing deployment times and the need for specialized fiber techs. The System’s modular design configures easily to support fiber splitting and C/D-WDM in the fiber distribution network when required.
